Remote Support
Step One - Give us a call
Call Completech NJ LLC to determine whether we can provide you with remote suppport. The main requirements are that your PC must:
- Be running Windows 7,8, or 10
- Be able to boot into Windows
- Be connected to the internet
Step Two - Download the Remote Support Tool
Completech NJ LLC uses AeroAdmin for remote support connections. Download AeroAdmin here to allow Completech NJ LLC to diagnose or configure your computer remotely.
Step Three - Run the Remote Support Tool
Locate and run AeroAdmin on your PC, then:
- Read us your ID and PIN
- Mark the Checkbox confirming that you trust the connection
- Click the green Accept Button to start the session
Note Regarding Anti-Virus Software
If you have a problem downloading and/or running AeroAdmin, you may need to temporarily disable your antivirus software:
- Locate your antivirus software in System Tray (the group of tiny icons near the clock in the lower right corner of your screen)
- Right click on the icon for your antivirus to open the menu
- Click on the option to disable your real time protection
Why do I need to disable my virus protection?
Scammers often use legitimate remote access software to gain access to a victim's computer, and for this reason, your antivirus software may flag our remote access software as malicious. Never allow remote access to a person or organization you do not trust.
